What are skin boosters?
Skin boosters are a very soft, fluid form of hyaluronic acid placed into the skin itself rather than beneath it. Hyaluronic acid attracts and holds water, which helps skin look smoother and more hydrated.
Devie uses Profhilo, Stylage HydroMax and Seventyhyal, choosing the right one for your skin. The face, neck and décolletage are common areas to treat.
See real resultsBefore and after photos from Devie's clinicWho they may suit
People whose skin feels tired, thin or dehydrated, or who have fine lines and crepey texture, often on the lower face and neck. They work well alongside a good skincare routine.
What happens on the day
Devie cleanses the skin and may apply numbing cream, then places tiny amounts of product across the area. You may see small raised bumps straight afterwards, which settle as the product spreads.
Aftercare and recovery
Avoid make-up for 12 to 24 hours, and avoid strenuous exercise, alcohol, saunas and strong sun for 24 to 48 hours. Use a high-SPF sunscreen daily.
Risks and side effects
Common: redness, swelling, small bumps, tenderness and bruising at injection points. Infection and other complications are rare and are explained at your consultation.
