Meet Devie
Devie Shaw is a registered nurse with over 15 years' medical experience, mostly in acute medicine and cancer care, and she still works as a specialist nurse in an NHS hospital.
She founded DA Aesthetics to bring that same standard of care to aesthetics: honest advice, careful assessment and subtle results for people who want to look fresher, not different.
DA Aesthetics is an independent clinic and is not part of the NHS.
Devie
Prescriber-led, start to finish
Devie is an independent nurse prescriber, so any prescription treatment is assessed and prescribed by her in person, never over the phone or online. She uses UK-licensed products only.
Honest advice, no pressure
If a treatment will not help, Devie will tell you. Sometimes the best plan is a change of skincare. You always get time to think before booking.

Is Devie qualified?
Yes. Devie is a registered nurse with over 15 years' medical experience and still works as a specialist nurse in an NHS hospital. She is a nurse prescriber and is fully insured for every treatment she offers.
Do I need a consultation first?
Always. Every treatment starts with a face-to-face consultation where Devie takes your medical history and explains every suitable option. Your consultation is free.
Does it hurt?
Most people describe mild discomfort. Many fillers contain a local anaesthetic, numbing cream can be used, and Devie works at your pace, with breaks whenever you need them.
How long do fillers last?
Results are temporary and vary with the area treated and your own skin. With the premium fillers Devie uses, results typically last 12 to 24 months.
Can under-18s be treated?
No. All treatments are for adults aged 18 and over, and ID may be requested.
What if I need to cancel?
Please let Devie know as soon as you can if you need to cancel or change an appointment. Any deposit or cancellation terms are explained when you book.
